Early Years Dance

I offer dance and movement workshops in early years settings, including pre-schools, nurseries, childminders and children's centres.

Early years dance and play

The workshops use music, movement, song, sensory materials and the imagination to create stories with the children. Workshops can be bespoke to your setting, working with the needs and interests of the children and/or your current planning.

For example, in previous sessions I have used well-known story books, looked at everyday experiences, such as going to the park, having a picnic, different seasons, or been on adventures to magical lands and outer space or explored other cultures around the world.

You do not need to supply anything for the workshop, just a reasonably sized floor space and a plug socket for the stereo.

I also deliver classes for parents, grandparents and carers and their early years children in community settings and in outdoor environments such as woodlands.

For more information about a possible workshop in your setting, or to find out about existing classes, please email for more...

"I've been to classes all over Europe and never experienced anything like this. Hannah focuses her attention on all the children and unlocks their full potential in a sensitive, playful and supportive way. She really listens and values all their ideas. She has a talent for creating magic moments and can really tune into kids' minds and hold their attention. I love the music and it's great fun!"
