Training & Mentoring

I deliver bespoke training and mentoring for early years practitioners, parents and artists who are interested in developing their dance, movement and creative practice in early years.

The training is practical and engaging, with theory fed in throughout. The training aligns with the 2012 Early Years Foundation Stage, demonstrating how the practice feeds throughout the Foundation Stage Framework, in particular the three Characteristics of Effective Learning of Playing and Exploring, Active Learning, Creativity and Critical Thinking and the Prime Area of Physical Development.

I have previously delivered training for Early Arts UK, Take Art, Plymouth and Canterbury Christchurch University, Surrey Childminding Network, Bath and North East Somerset Early Years and Extended Services, Dance South Gloucestershire, The National Theatre and Children's Centres in Somerset.

"Lots of ideas, re-thinking of existing activities to be more positive and value everything each child can contribute, even when it challenges."

"Hannah is an excellent trainer. She made the sessions fun, informative, backed up with sound knowledge of the field and put people immediately at ease."

"Thoroughly enjoyed course and activities. Took away a good positive attitude and lots of creative ideas. Handouts useful and chatting together through the EYFS principles with each other helpful."
